My passion for exploration, hiking, and travel has taken me on a wild ride through so many beautiful parts of this planet. Capturing the moments where I find total serenity is something that allows me to look back on the moment and to share it with others. The overwhelming beauty of a certain place at a certain moment is fleeting. I strive to freeze that moment in time with my camera.

As of 2024 I have been to 21 countries, 38 states in the US, and 30 US National Parks. International travel continues to be a big draw, but my favorite places are in the Western US. The wide open wilderness is ripe for exploration and holds many lifetimes' worth of adventures. My wife, Shannon, and I lived out of our tow-behind trailer wandering around the western US and Canada for almost a year. Many of my photos come from this time. Now, being based in the Pacific Northwest provides lots of opportunity for local adventures in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.
